Mobile x-ray unit operation and faults
30mA Mobile X-ray unit
GT-SF30AY mobile x-ray unit was designed to perform scans for patients in ICUs, and medical clinics which don't require high power X-ray to be done.
it's very useful for peripherals scans like wrist, arms, knees and feet scans, although it's useful for most Veterinary scans with consider to the animal weight.
Xray mobile unit Configuration
1. External body made of metal and plastics to contain the mechanical and electrical parts of the unit.
2. Electrical Xray control unit which contains some parts like transformers, Boards, selector buttons for mAs,mA,Kv andVoltage, Analogue meters to show voltage and mA consumption.
3. Mechanical Arm with spring to carry and allow Xray tube to move vertically.
4. Xray Tube assigned with Xray collimator and lamp to help the operator to target the Xray beam.
Xray mobile unit Operation
first of all, make sure that your unit is safe to use, and your cables are properly attached to its plugs.
Then you can plug your power cable into mains, and you will see digits screen showing mAs and green label lighted (ready power).
Identify your Kv using the Kv selector, then choose your mA range by selecting (floro, 15, 30) on the scale, then identify your mAs using the up and down buttons, now you ready to lunch the Xray beam.
set your patient to the scan area wanted and push the hand switch button to get the shot.
Xray mobile unit faults
- Device is not On when Power cable is attached
check your power cable
check the Voltage input transformer into the Control unit
check your Voltage scale not to be lower than 210 or above 230 V.
check your Kv and mA selectors to be Fixed to a specific value and not between two values.
check your Tube cable from both terminals.
Check the Xray Tube input current.
Check mA field resistance and relays in Control unit.
check the Connections between Voltage transformers, boards and Xray tube.
check your Voltage scale not to be lower than 210 or above 230 V.
Check mA field resistance and relays into Control unit.
check the Voltage input transformer into the Control unit.
